What is Hypnotherapy?
Hypnotherapy is a safe and effective process where the client is guided into a deep state of relaxation or trance (also known as an altered state). In a trance state, clients are more responsive to suggestions as well as gaining a different perspective on their issues and solutions. In hypnosis, clients are actively participating in their own healing. The client’s permission and participation is paramount to the outcome.
The Hypnotherapist is the guide with the map that provides the safe place for the client’s experience.
In hypnosis, the subconscious mind becomes more focused. As a result, one is able to access valuable information about behaviors, physical problems, emotional problems, blocks and negative language patterns. The information revealed in the altered state provides the client with a new perception, which allows healing to take place.
Hypnotherapy has many applications including but not limited to: unwanted habits and behaviors, phobias, anxiety, stress, depression, insomnia, trauma, memory recall, pain control, skin problems and skill rehearsal.
Hypnosis can also assist client in developing valuable resources within themselves so that they may break free from limitations and discover their true self.
